Stakeholders gathered at Lund University’s premier environmental institute – the IIIEE - to help shape policy for Big Room’s dot eco generic top level domain (gTLD). The workshop aimed to tap into the international and expert group participants. The objectives for the workshop were to:
1. Explore how new and existing disclosure and data initiatives may be designed for integration, standardization, compatibility, interoperability and quality assurance;
2. Identify key issues, opportunities and challenges around developing dot eco policies
3. Discuss how and why IT innovations can improve the relevance and usability of information for different stakeholders worldwide
