Earth Hour 2010: Darkness Lights the Way Forward
Saturday March 27th at 8:30 pm millions of people around the world signaled that they care about our climate. WWF has posted a great collection of photos from around the world here.
Really heartening to really see this call to action from all quarters. Let's hope the Senators working on a new climate bill in the US heard the call, and support builds for their effort.
The Mystery of the Five Dollar Radio (or why dot eco matters)
We just finished reading Annie Leonard's brilliant post about how a radio can cost just five dollars.
Where do the things we buy come from? Who made them? What materials were used in their construction? Do the companies that made them care about the planet? What about their employees or the communities they work in?
These are great questions, and finding the answers is really why we started working on dot eco. We need to get a handle on the answers to these mysteries, and dot eco is a great opportunity to help us all do that.

Briefly, William is currently Chairman of Gridpoint, Inc., a company that designs and manufactures energy management systems for the home and office. He is an internationally renowned expert on environmental issues.
